What happens after the disaster and after the immediate rush to help?

For Feed The Hungry and our partners, we stay and help our brothers and sisters in Haiti, help them recover fully. We’ve been ministering in Haiti for two decades and will continue to help this nation that is so dear and close to our hearts. Many lives have been touched by the generous and compassionate response from Feed The Hungry and our partners. It is important for us to stay, not only to continue providing life-saving food and water, but to offer support to our brothers and sisters and to offer the hope of Christ to the lost. The people of Haiti are a resilient and grateful nation, and the opportunity to share the Gospel message there has never been greater. As you pray and give today, we'll continue to wire funds and ship emergency supplies to our ministry partners: supplies like food, blankets, temporary shelters, vitamins, Bibles, medical supplies and more.

This week we were able to open a playground for the children in Haiti, a small area of Joy amongst the rubble that is taking so long to clear, whilst legislation is holding up building programs to build houses and schools, the work of providing for body, soul and mind still goes on.
